His Fragments on the Theory and Practice of Landscape Gardening, coauthored with his son John Adey Repton,b includes his very particular notions of landscape gardening on a large scale. The text includes images by Repton illustrating his text, such as Picnic at Longleat, which is embellished with picnickers.
